Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. She then went back to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via the unanimous decision, which put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won her fight in the opening round via TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then moved to Bantamweight for her subsequent fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. But, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. The fight was won by KO in the 2nd round. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to win by TKO in the second round. In her subsequent fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the initial round, and was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. She fought her first big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Avs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd took victory by a unanimous vote. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC broadcast on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
